Noteworthy Philadelphia invites you to be a part of our vibrant musical community as a "Featured Friend".
Our "One Notable Minute" series is your chance to shine in short, engaging music videos.
What is "One Notable Minute"?
"One Notable Minute" videos are our way of celebrating music, “one minute” at a time. Sometimes we just do a quick snippet of a song (hence they’re called “one” notable minute videos); other times, we’ll do the whole song but the arrangement will be simpler and easier to grasp on one’s own. While our quarterly full group performances are mandatory for our members, these monthly mini-projects are voluntary. We believe in the power of choice; so both members and non-members can participate when their schedules allow.
It's a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, share your passion, and connect with fellow music lovers!
How It Works -
Voluntary Participation: You choose when to participate. We’ll send you a monthly newsletter with the next few months of music video selections we plan to release, the video concepts, the arrangement details, the audio submission date, and the video submission date or film date/location.. Raise your hand for the ones you’re interested in and have time for.
Diverse Song Choices: From the latest chart-toppers to timeless classics, our songs cover various genres and themes. Let us know you’re interested early, and you might even be able to get a solo!
Flexibility: Depending on the project, you might receive teaching videos or work with MIDI MP3s to listen to for practice, arrangement PDFs, and scratch audio tracks from existing members to listen to and imitate.
Video Creation: Create your video following our guidelines (what to wear, portrait or landscape filming, gimmicks, etc.), either by joining us for in-person filming or submitting a video recording of you lip syncing or grooving to the edited audio.

Who We're Looking For -
We welcome individuals who:
Are seeking a low-commitment, yet rewarding musical experience.
Have a moderate understanding of music theory.
Can commit to the chosen projects for which they volunteer with enthusiasm and dedication.
Are not involved in long-term performance groups, giving you the freedom to explore your musical passion (but this isn’t a hard rule)
